hazyleaf: LaDonna Adrian Gaines, better known to us all as Donna Summer, the Queen of Disco, died this morning after a battle with cancer. She was in Florida at the time of her death. She was 63 years old. She will be missed. I had the pleasure of meeting her, in Los Angeles in 1990 and having an awesome conversation. You could feel the love she had for people and music. Another great icon that made that mark in our lives by singing her way into our hearts…not to mention, our feet.(December 31, 1948 – May 17, 2012) R.I.P.
